Today we’d like to introduce you to Esther Oppong.

Hi Esther, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
You know, life is funny. Have you ever had a moment when, in seeing someone pursue something great or terrifying, you thought, “How inspiring! But *I*could never do something like that.” And then more life happens, and suddenly YOU are the one pursuing something great and terrifying and actually *doing* something like that? Yeah? Me too. Ha. When I started Queen Esther’s Cupcakes, I was working full-time as an Academic Counselor – a job I absolutely loved. I was fully satisfied with my work and felt fulfilled and grateful! However, a need for supplemental income + a desire to create something original + a commitment to taking a chance on myself led to the greatest (and thus far, the tastiest) adventure of my life!
